Executive Coaching is
an unparalleled opportunity to accelerate individual
learning and development, all focused on the achievement
of company growth
Coaching is a professional partnership
between a qualified, credentialed coach and an organization
leader who is accountable for achieving strategic organizational
results and who has, or is expected to have, key influence
or decision making responsibilities across the organization.
This area of coaching typically focuses
on the skills and behaviors for engaging organizational
performance, but it may also focus on the leader's personal
leadership and communication effectiveness.
How will you and your company benefit
from coaching? As an organizational leader who engages in executive
coaching, you will learn about fresh perspectives on
personal organizational challenges, sharpen your strategic
thinking skills, increase your ability to manage emotional
reactions despite internal or external pressures, gain
more effective communication skills, and increase your
confidence as a leader.
You can also expect to see appreciable
results in the areas of organizational productivity,
leadership effectiveness, employee retention/satisfaction,
customer satisfaction and bottom line results.
Coaching provides a safe, secure and confidential
outlet to explore possible solutions and actions to:
- Understand and overcome personal barriers to success
- Achieve higher performance from your team
- Articulate a compelling vision and identify leadership
actions to achieve this
- Solve immediate problems
- Redefine success and next steps
- Develop technically talented individuals
who need additional leadership & interpersonal skills
- Produce better bottom line results by turning around
a team or individual that may be stuck
- The opportunity to receive and review 360' feedback
and other individual assessments that results in actionable
insights and improved performance
How We Do It
Individual coaching is typically one to
three, one-hour sessions per month for a three-, six-
or 12-month period. The goal is to focus on independence,
not dependence on the coach.
To ensure that the coaching achieves both
personal and business objectives the following steps
and discovery phase are completed:
1. Goal alignment - Interviews will be conducted with
the sponsor (usually line manager of person being coached),
the individual being coached and key stakeholders to
identify key success factors, timelines and measures
of success.
2. Discovery session -The first face-to-face meeting
will review coaching guidelines and personal expectations
for effective coaching, review initial feedback and
start to explore options for influencing effective change
3. Coaching sessions - Structured sessions will be held
for the duration of the coaching contract, usually conducted
by telephone (frequency is determined by the coachee
and business need)
4. Evaluation and review - How has the coaching impacted
the participant? Success factors associated with goal
alignment (step 1) will be reviewed.
